We offer an all-inclusive geolocation solution, simply via a complete range of devices for different uses.

 

QG1 : Which tags to choose and for which use?

Our GPS trackers offer geolocation and monitoring solutions to meet each specific need for geolocation or traceability.
According to the need, autonomy and specificities, the sensitivity of the product will be different.
We offer a wide range of trackers that adapt to the needs of our customers (car, truck, boat, quad, family, animals, objects etc).

QG2 : Where are your GPS solutions designed and manufactured?

Our solutions are designed and integrated in Triel-sur-Seine in Yvelines, France.

 

QG3 : Is the network picked up everywhere?

In order to guarantee the best possible geolocation, we advise you to visit www.antennesmobiles.fr to check your network coverage (select only the 2G network).
Our beacons are multi-operator, they always provide a position. However, if you are in an area with poor network coverage, the position will be less accurate.

 

QG4 : What are the delivery times?

Items are sent at the latest the day after your order, working day. Then, the Post Office has 24 to 48 hours for delivery via Chronopost.

When your order is shipped, we send you an e-mail with the tracking number of the shipment.
You can therefore consult its routing in complete autonomy on the website CLIC HERE.

 

QG5 : What types of notifications are available?

You can set up a large number of notifications according to the tracer models (animals, people, vehicles…) including :
o Entry in a geo-barrier
o Exit from a geo-barrier
o Low battery
o Interaction between your plotter and another user’s plotter …

QG6 : The GPS position of my pet is not very precise, the tracker does not work ?

The GPS technology is accurate on the move only, in open outdoor areas.
When your tracker is indoors, it can, depending on the model, provide a position from the geolocation of the surrounding WiFi networks. Only this is not as accurate as GPS.
When the plotter is stationary (at home for example), the accuracy is less than if it was moving and all this is normal: it is related to GPS technology.
If the GPS signal is partially received, the position will be less accurate.

QSC1: Who do I contact if I have a problem?

Our technical team is available 6 days / 7. Do not hesitate to send us an email at support@localiz.io our teams are very reactive and will do their utmost to assist you.

 

QSC2 : My equipment (case, fastener…) is broken. What do I have to do ?

First of all, please send an email explaining your problem to support@localiz.io.
Our technical team will diagnose the problem with you to determine the cause of the problem and will proceed either to repair, exchange or refund.

 

QSC3: I have some difficulties with the installation or the pick up of the plotter, what should I do?

All our team is there to help you in the use of your plotters, that’s what we are here for ! Contact us by email at support@localiz.io.
You can ask all the questions you want. Our technical service team is the same as the one who designed the solution, so they are very reactive and efficient to help you in the after-sales service.
Do not hesitate to text us by SMS (the number is indicated on the notice), the processing time will be faster.

 

LOCALIZ Animals

Introduction :

At Localiz, we all have an animal that we consider to be a member of our family in its own right. It was important to be reassured about their activities and, above all, about their position.

Thanks to our trackers that attach to your pets’ collars, it is now possible to monitor their GPS position in real time, without fear and with the certainty that they are no longer lost and, above all, to find them if they run away.

 

QA1 : I have lost my GPS beacon, what should I do

It is imperative to inform us as soon as possible in case of loss.
Indeed, after 48 hours the LOOKAT tracker will be totally discharged and it will be more complicated to find it.
In order to optimize our collaboration in case of loss, our teams need to intervene quickly on the history of the beacon, it is therefore important to react quickly, before the beacon is extinguished.

Quote in object its small Name or its identifier, we will save time. As for the DOGMAX beacon, it has a much greater autonomy, and then it won’t come off!

 

QA2: Are tracer waves a problem for animals ?

There is no danger for the animal. Moreover, we transmit in a very short and non-continuous manner, as some of our colleagues do when they make a voice call to the beacon. These waves have no effect on the behaviour or health of our animals.

 

QA3 : Why is it not possible to emit a sound from the GPS beacon in order to find my cat ?

Cats have very, very sensitive ears, so it is not recommended by the medical profession to have recourse to « sounds » that would frighten them and cause them hearing problems. This is also the case with bell collars: not recommended.

 

QA4 : What is the autonomy of the LOOKAT tracker ?

The autonomy of any tracker depends on several factors:
o The environment in which you live,
o The density of the surrounding 2G network,
o Your pet’s activity.

On average, LOOKAT trackers have a variable autonomy between 24 and 48 hours and are 100% waterproof.
We advise our customers to load their beacons every evening, when the animals are at home, this way they associate the installation of the gps to the exit.
In case of doubt or question, do not hesitate to contact us or consult the technical data sheet.

 

QA5 : What is the autonomy of the tracer WOOFOO ?

The WOOFOO tracker is intended for animals of +15kg. Its autonomy is more important than that of the LOOKAT plotter, however it is not waterproof. The battery of the WOOFOO varies between 24 and 72 hours according to the network environment and the activity of your animal. In case of doubt on the choice of your tracker, do not hesitate to contact us or to consult the technical data sheet.

 

QA6 : What is the autonomy of the DOGMAX tracker ?

The DOGMAX Tracker is suitable for sporty, hyperactive and runaway dogs. It is ideal for hiking or long excursions in unfamiliar terrain. It is also suitable for herds. 100% waterproof, it is resistant to all types of weather, so its autonomy is greater than that of other trackers, as is its robustness. Its autonomy varies according to the demands of positions per day.
Examples: Setting with a position every 10 seconds: 3 days of autonomy / Setting 1h = 15 days / Setting every 6h = 20 days / Setting 24h = 30 days.

 

QA7 : My pet is in the living room but its position indicates that it is more than 20 m away, why ?

As explained above, the device works outdoors. Indoors, the beacon does not pick up the GPS and therefore « wedges » on the Wifi(s) available, which creates anomalies.

The tracker must therefore be turned on and used outdoors. At home, it is more difficult to lose your pet !

QA8 : How to share one of my tags or all my tags with another user ?

QV1: Does the LOOTRACK pick up in the third basement of a car park ?

The LOOTRACK picks up up to -2 depending on its location, under a seat or in the engine hood. We recommend that you try it out, because depending on the vehicles and the car parks, it is random.

Our technicians are quite knowledgeable on the subject. Do not hesitate to call them.

QP1: I have lost my GPS beacon, what should I do?

It is imperative to inform us as soon as possible in case of loss.
Indeed, beyond 48 hours the FAMILIZ tracker will be totally discharged and it will be more complicated to find it.
In order to optimize our collaboration in case of loss, our teams need to intervene quickly on the history of the beacon, it is therefore important to react quickly, before the beacon is extinguished.

In order to find the beacon quickly, the technical service will ask you for its identifier or its Name written on the back of the device.

QO1 : How much autonomy for the suitcase tracker for a road-trip in Australia ?
